One of the best gifts we received this holiday was an electric pressure cooker from Kelli’s parents. We were clueless about pressure cooking, so luckily there was a cookbook included as part of the gift. We’ve been experimenting with different recipes but one of our all time favorites has become barbecue ribs. They are so easy to make!
1 rack of baby back ribs (you could also use country style ribs if you prefer)
1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
Cut the slab of ribs into sections, we always cut it into 4 sections.
In the pressure cooker, use the browning setting and brown each piece for 2 1/2 minutes per side.
Remove from the pressure cooker.
Mix 1 cup barbecue sauce with 1 cup water.
Place the ribs back in the pressure cooker and pour this sauce over the ribs.
Close the lid and cook for 30 minutes on high setting.
When finished, release the steam (or you could let it do the natural release).
In a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil (for easy clean up), lay the cooked rib sections flat.
Cover them with additional barbecue sauce and cook for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. This step allows the sauce to get sticky and really finishes off the ribs.
When the 15 minutes is up, you are finished. Enjoy!
If you are looking for a pressure cooker, the one that we use is the Cooks Essentials pressure cooker from QVC.
You can also find a large selection of electric pressure cookers on Amazon.

While we were at Kroger the other day we spotted a high value peelie coffee coupon on the Honey Bunches of Oats cereal. Save $2.50 off any one coffee when you buy 2 Post boxes of cereal.
Since we were buying Honey Bunches of Oats cereal anyway (it’s on the Mega Event), we picked up a cheap can of Maxwell House too using the coupon. $3.49 for coffee can’t be beat. Make sure to check your store for this high value peelie coupon; we are thinking that because it can be used when you purchase any 2 Post cereals it may be on other varieties of Post cereal boxes as well. It’s worth a look.
Just in time for a little Easter treat – we have a new Tic Tack coupon you can print at home (twice).
We are really happy to see this sale at Rite Aid because we are running low on vitamins.
